CAIRO: Creative young business owners in Egyptian fashion or design startups are invited to participate in a British Council contest being run from June 10-30.
Titled “Young Creative Entrepreneur (YCE)”, the contest “seeks to celebrate, support and connect emerging innovative and entrepreneurial leaders,” the British Council said in a Wednesday statement.
The program was previously launched in 21 other countries and will be presenting a design and fashion award in Egypt.
Winners of the program will be able to participate in a tour of the U.K.’s fashion and design sector from Sept. 13-20, and network with international business contacts.
Applicants must own or work in a fashion or design startup and have at least two and not more than seven years of experience.
