LONDON: The head of the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce said on Friday British investors are optimistic that the Egyptian economy will revive.

Speaking to MENA, Taher el-Sharif said foreign investors are also optimistic about the climate of investment in Egypt.

He made his comments on the sidelines of a conference organized by the chamber on the investment in Egypt.

Sharif said the conference is important as it’s the first of its kind to be held after the May presidential election and after President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi announced his four-year plan for reviving the economy.
