The Ring Road connects all of Egypt’s networks since the road length is 24,000 kilometers, in addition to the 1,704 km that connect cities and governorates, Gayoshi told ONTV Monday.

He added that there are 12 new projects to raise security and efficiency of roads for the safety of citizens, especially in the entrance of Cairo-Alexandria road. There will be a committee that chooses which roads that need fixing.

He told Tahrir channel Saturday that improving road and bridges will lead to increasing chances of investment and economical growth.

Gayoshi said there are patrols organized by the authority, in cooperation with Ministry of Interior, to monitor the roads and secure citizens.

The Ministry of Transportation announced Friday that train movement hours will increase to 21 hours a day, according to ONA news agency.
