CAIRO: One police officer was injured in Friday clashes between the security forces and pro-Muslim Brotherhood supporters at Haram Street, Giza.
The security forces were dispersing a pro-Brotherhood protest after the Friday prayers when the demonstrators threw Molotov cocktails and birdshots.
The forces fired teargas to disperse the protest and the officer was shot in the face by a birdshot.
In Ain Shams district, a pro-Brotherhood march started off after the Friday prayers from Hamza Ibn Abdel Motaleb Mosque, raising Rabaa slogans and chanting against the police and the army.
