CAIRO: Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met with Egyptian newspapers editors-in-chief and heads of satellite channels in the Investment Authority Headquarters Wednesday, Youm7 reported.
Mahlab said in the meeting that the government is listing employing youth as a priority and that the government is working on founding a company to employ a million youths nationwide.
He said the government recently adopted important policies with respect to rationing subsides such as the bread distribution system.
The State will enforce the law strictly on whoever does criminal attacks or practices vandalism and it will eradicate terrorism. He said the recent criminal attacks increase the government’s determination to firmly confront terrorism.
Mahlab said the State spends only 25 percent of the budget on all services and the rest is dedicated to subsides, wages, and paying debts. He said only the rich benefit from subsides in Egypt unlike the poor.
