July 14: Cairokee at Sawy Cultural Wheel

CAIRO: Sawy Cultural Wheel will host concerts for Cairokee band on July 14 and July 15 at 9:30 p.m.

The band’s name Cairokee means “singing along with Cairo,” according to their Facebook page. The band was officially formed in 2003 with Amir Eid, Tamer Hashem, Sherif Hawary, Adam El-Alfy, and Sherif Mostafa.

Cairokee sound changes from album to album, reflecting their goals and continuous ambition to sing along with Cairo, a fast-paced and ever-evolving city.
