CAIRO: Demonstrators burned the Israeli flag in protest in front of the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo Friday afternoon to condemn the Israeli bombing in Gaza, Youm7 reported.

Demonstrator Sayed Abul Ezz told The Cairo Post that the protesters demand the expulsion of the Israeli Ambassador in Egypt, and called on Palestinians to fight the occupying authorities.
“Palestine is the cause” the protesters cheered after burning the Israeli flag.

Egypt opened its Rafah border crossing for a few hours Thursday to accept injured Palestinians following a recent intensified bombing campaign by Israel, in which AFP estimates at least 100 Palestinians have been killed.
