CAIRO: Four people were injured Tuesday in a road accident in which Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab’s convoy crashed into other vehicles in Damietta governorate (Delta), Youm7 reported.
Mahlab was onboard the convoy at the time, but suffered no injuries.
The convoy was heading to Dakahlia governorate to inspect the city’s Lake Manzala, in which fish have died due to contaminated water, and the crash took place on a Damietta road leading to the Lake.
After finishing his tour, Mahlab traveled to Damietta Hospital to check on those injured in the crash.
The injured included a reporter and audio engineer from Mehwar channel.
