TRIPOLI: Three Egyptian workers have been killed in southern Tripoli.

They were killed during an attack with Grad rockets on the district where they lived, a security official said.

On Tuesday, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry issued warnings to Egyptians cautioning them against traveling to Libya for their safety.

The security situation in Libya has flared up anew in recent weeks as militants took hold of vital government installations and oil fields.

According to Libya’s Health Ministry, 47 people have been killed and 120 others injured as rival militias fight for control of the country’s largest airport in Tripoli.
