Experts: Brotherhood figures abroad influencing action in Egypt

The international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood, particularly in London, is attempting to control the situation in Egypt by organizing demonstrations and executing terroristic operations in the Sinai, experts told Youm7. They said their opinion is supported by the fact that many Brotherhood figures in Egypt have been arrested on criminal charges.

Major General Mohamed Nour el-Din, former assistant of the interior minister, said international Brotherhood figures are responsible for managing and organizing  movements in Egyptian street. Members in London are responsible for organizing Friday demonstrations in Egypt, he said.

“Gomaa Ali Amin is leading the organization for the Brotherhood,” said Din. “Amin was reported to be the actual leader, not Mahmmoud Ezzat.”

Security expert Major General Abdul Latif Albidiny agreed that the international leaders of the MB are responsible for public policy. Albidiny said he has information on international MB  leaders dominating the political situation in Egypt.

Dr. Amr Hashem Rabie, a political expert at the Ahram Center for Strategic Studies said  demonstrations on August 30 confirmed  the Brotherhood is almost defeated, for now.

Rabie noted the change in the international situation over the Muslim Brotherhood, especially after the U.S threat of launching an airstrike against Syria.
