CAIRO: A large fire broke out at a food produce factory in Alexandria Friday, leaving its components burnt and seven workers injured after suffering mild suffocation, Youm7 reported.
The workers were transferred to Borg el-Arab hospital and then released after receiving the needed treatment.
The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed but the factory manager suggested it might have been caused by a short circuit in the wires connected to the ward, Masrawy news website reported.
It was also reported that 15 fire trucks managed to put out the blaze and the factory is still in the process of cooling.
