CAIRO: Two aid convoys from Saudi Arabia and Oman reached the Rafah border crossing with Gaza Tuesday, an official source in Rafah told Al-Masry Al-Youm.

The source added that the first aid convoy was sent by Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz and it consisted of 19 trucks loaded with medicine and medical appliances.

He said the second aid convoy was sent by the Omani Authority Charitable Organization and it was carrying humanitarian aid.

Coordination is ongoing with the Egyptian Red Crescent to admit the two aid convoys.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Israel has agreed to allow humanitarian aid and reconstruction materials to the Gaza Strip after a new cease-fire agreement was announced Tuesday, Al-Hayat reported.
