CAIRO: Rafah residents in North Sinai found the beheaded body of a Bedouin youth Friday according to comments made to Youm7 by a security source.

The source identified the victim as Soliman Salman and his father has confirmed this. This raises the tally of recent decapitation murders in North Sinai to six, Youm7 reported.

Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis claimed on Thursday it had beheaded four Egyptian civilians in North Sinai after it accused them of spying for Israel.

The Sinai-based militant group claimed in a video published on the group’s alleged Twitter account Thursday that an Israeli drone crossed into Egypt on July 27 and killed three of its jihadists after their group was infiltrated by “traitors informing the Israeli Mossad” about their location. The body of another victim was thrown out of a moving Hyundai truck in southern Sheikh Zuwayed, El-Watan reported Friday.
