CAIRO: A police officer was killed and 10 conscripts injured after to a bomb allegedly planted by militants exploded next to their armored vehicle in South Arish road, Youm7 reported.
A security source told Youm7 that the injured police conscripts have been transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Intensive security measures are taken now at the scene area and the mid-Arish road is blocked, as forces are searching for the perpetrators.
Another armed vehicle was bombed Sept. 2 in Rafah, North Sinai killing 11, and injuring two more.
