CAIRO: Metro traffic came to an unexpected halt early Saturday morning at three stations due to a technical malfunction, Youm7 reported.

The halt was reportedly due to a malfunction in one of the trains between the Saqiat Mekki, Dawahy el-Giza and Umm el-Masriyeen stations.

Metro Company chief Ali Fadaly told Al-Ahram the Metro is normally working from Shubra el-Kheima to Giza until the trains are pulled into the Mounib station.
