CAIRO: The United Nations in Egypt will celebrate U.N. Day with a fair, marking the organization’s 1945 founding at the Fish Garden in Zamalek from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 23.
The event will highlight the stories and successes of beneficiaries of U.N. projects in Egypt. It will also include a photo and video competition.
Videographers are to document the day in a one to five minute videos to be posted by Oct. 26 on Twitter with the following tags: #UNDayEG and @UNEgypt and photos to be posted during the event using the same tags.
The winners will receive a certificate of recognition from the U.N. in Egypt.
