CAIRO: Three people including a trash worker were injured Saturday morning after a bomb exploded inside a trash bin in Cairo, a security source told state-owned MENA.
When a trash worker cleaning under the Ghamra bridge in Cairo, he found unknown object which later detonated, the head of the General Administartion of the Civil Protection Authority Samy Youssef told the agency.
Security forces combed the area to be sure the place is clear from other bombs.
On Oct. 22, an explosion targeting police personnel in Nahda Square near Cairo University injured 11 people, including 6 police personnel and elderly woman. Militant group of Ajnad Misr (soldiers of Egypt) announced its responsibility for the attack.
