CAIRO: The play of “The Last Supper” by writer and director Ahmed Al-Attar will make its debut Nov. 10 at the Falaki Theatre downtown Cairo, produced by Attar’s Temple Theatre Company.
Attar is an Egyptian independent theatre director and playwright, and the artistic director of the annual Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (D-CAF.)
Starring Sayed Ragab, Ramsi Lehner, Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Nanda Mogamed and Marwa Tharwat, “The Last Supper” will tackle modern social and familial themes, with apathetic, nihilistic and absurd ideas.
Attar has produced eight plays, the last one being “The Importance of Being Arab” in 2010.
Time: From Nov. 10 to Nov. 12 at 8 p.m.
