CAIRO: A suspect accused of killing the son of a senior judge was arrested Monday, Youm7 reported.
The 42-year-old murder suspect was arrested at Borg al-Arab airport in Alexandria while traveling with a forged passport. He is accused of shooting Mohamed Mahmoud el-Sayed in the Delta city of Mansoura in September.
Another suspect in the crime is already in custody, and accused of monitoring the movement of “targets of the assassination.”
Judge Mahmoud el-Sayed, the victim’s father, has judged high-profile cases, but the police have not been able to determine whether he was the intended target of the attack.
