Two fires in Cairo and Aswan: 1 soldier killed and another injured

CAIRO: A huge fire erupted in one of the floating restaurants in Kit-Kat distract near Zamalek, beneath 15th of May Bridge, with no injuries, Youm 7 reported Sunday.

Giza governor Ali Abd Al- Rahman told Youm7 Sunday that no one was hurt in the fire, and that it was difficult to be controlled because of its location. He added that the reason of the fire is still under investigation.

General Major Magdy Shalqamy told Youm7 that the criminal lab is only authorized to reveal the cause the fire and any casualties after the conclusion of an investigation.

In a similar fire that erupted Sunday morning in Aswan Governorate, a soldier died and other was injured after a short circuit ignited a blaze in a Central Security Forces camp.
