CAIRO: Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab received Sunday his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe along with a delegation of high-level officials in a two-day visit to Egypt, Youm7 reported.
Abe is scheduled to meet President Abdel-Fatah al-Sisi to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries. He will also meet with Mahalb to discuss ways to boost mutual cooperation in economic, political and cultural fields.
Sisi have already met with Abe in the sideline of the 69th meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations on 25 September.
This is Abe’s second visit to Egypt as in 2007; he has visited Egypt and met with former President Hosni Mubarak and former Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif.
