CAIRO: Two persons died Sunday morning as they were allegedly trying to place a bomb at the base of an electricity tower in the Beheira governorate, ONTV reported.
Youm7 reported that security forces immediately moved to the location to monitor any other strange devices.
The Ministry of Health announced earlier that 250 hospitals have been specified as “first response” emergency hospitals, along with another 100 hospital as “second responders” in 7 different regions and governorates, in preparation for possible clashes on Sunday, the fourth anniversary of the January 25 Revolution.
Khaled Al-Weshahy, the emergency chief in the health ministry told Youm7 that hospitals have been stocked with blood and medicine.
Several clashes were reported to take place in the Maadi distract in Cairo between security forces and the demonstrators, following a pro-Muslim Brotherhood demonstration Sunday morning, Youm7 reported.
