CAIRO: The “Giza Popular Resistance” (GPR) Facebook page posted a video  Sunday of the torching of a police station at Juhayna Square in October 6 City in the southern outskirts of Cairo.

GPR also said it planted fake bombs in certain areas in Cairo and reported them to the police.

“The police went to the locations and closed off the road in a state of horror and anxiety just to discover it was a false report and that the bombs were fake. The business is still coming and we will play the police at a very high level,” GPR wrote.

The Facebook page is new, as GPR’s old page was recently taken off Facebook. The old page had posted several videos of groups of people whom it claims as members blocking roads by firing oil across streets and torching police vehicles.
