CAIRO: Ten decomposed bodies, one of which possibly belongs to a child, were found in a deserted area in Arish by shepherds Monday, medical sources in North Sinai told Youm7.

Other medical sources in Arish Public Hospital told Youm7 it received eight bodies, and that locals from Sheikh Zuwayed, Rafah and Arish arrived to identify family members who had disappeared. They, however, were not able to identify the bodies because of their bad condition.

Dozens of bodies have been found in North Sinai in the past year, some of which beheaded.  A number of those killed were executed by Sinai-based Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis for collaborating with Israel or the Egyptian military.
