Cairo: Four metro stations have been reportedly closed in anticipation of potential improvised explosive devices, Youm7 reported Friday.

“Suspicious bag” was reportedly found at Ezbet el-Nakhl metro station south of Cairo which caused the closure of other three stations nearby.

Head of Metro Authorities, Ali Fadali told Youm7 that trains coming from Helwan will stop at al-Matarya station, 3 kilometers north of the line 1’s last station of Al Marg.

Bomb disposal experts rushed to the Ezbet el-Nakhl metro station to examine the bag in order to resume the metro movement.
