CAIRO: Two women were killed, and 4 injured after shall hit their house in Rafah city Sunday night, Youm7 reported.
Eyewitnesses told Youm7 that the shell destroyed parts of the house; the civilians were transferred immediately to Rafah hospital where the two died.
The witness added that live fire was exchanged between armed groups and security forces after the shell hit.
Security forces are investigating the incident, and the preliminary results indicate that the house was caught in a crossfire between the militant and security forces, Youm7 reported.
On, Thursday Jan. 29 a series of attacks in North Sinai killed at least 29 soldiers, as well as a number of civilians.
