Israeli man arrested in Sinai with maps, videos of military facilities

CAIRO: An young Israeli man was arrested in Taba city, Sinai, with maps, photos and videos of military facilities, as well as tanks and electricity towers in Egypt, Youm7 reported Sunday.

It was added that the man came to Sinai as a tourist, however the security forces suspected him, and shortly after arriving to Taba, he was inspected as the maps were found in his possession.

Earlier, in 2011 another alleged Israeli spy, Ilan Gerabil, was arrested in Egypt; however he was released after 5 months during a prisoner exchang between the two authorities.
