Man accused of killing his sons in despair over debts

CAIRO:Two children were killed in Sohag governorate Sunday after their father allegedly murdered them in despair over his debts, Youm7 reported.

The father is accused of throwing them in the Nile; he claimed that while his sons were playing by the river and fell in.

Security forces a doubted his testimony especially after the mother said that their father told her they disappeared and he could not find them.

During the investigation father allegedly confessed to the crime, and said he felt he was unable to provide for them because of his debts.
