CAIRO: A total of 31 mothers have been given the option of receiving a 50,000 EGP award or free pilgrimage, Sisa Abu Doah, one of the mothers honored by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi Sunday, told Al-Masry Al-Youm.

Abu Doah, who is in her 60s, hid her sex under loose men’s clothing for over 40 years to work like a man. Her husband had died while she was pregnant with their only daughter.
