Soldier injured in armed attack in Suez; 2 others in car accident in Sharqia

CAIRO: Armed men attacked a security patrol in the Suez governorate Monday morning, injuring a soldier, reported Youm7.

The police forces exchanged fire with the attackers with until they ran away; the soldier was referred to a military hospital.

The attackers have been identified according to Youm7, and the police are monitoring the whole surrounding area in order to find them.

Two soldiers were also injured Sunday night in a car crash in the Sharqia governorate, en route to a fire that had broken out in a textile factory.
