CAIRO: President of South Africa Jacob Zuma will arrive in Egypt on Wednesday for a two-day visit, where he will discuss bilateral cooperation with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

Head of the South African state-owned news agency Ladislas Agbesi told MENA that the visit “will open the door for more cooperation between the two countries.”

Agbesi added that President Zuma will invite Sisi to attend the African Summit 2015 that is set to be held in South Africa in June, and added that South Africa was supportive to Egypt’s return to the African Union during 2014 Summit in Malabo.

Egypt and South Africa have a “common vision” regarding counter terrorism and African development, said Agbesi, as he described the meeting as “historical between two great leaders.”
