The oil-rich kingdom has provided aid to both Cairo and Islamabad in the past years.

The Decisive Storm operation began March 25 at a request from Yemeni President Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi to curb Houthi rebels, who are believed to be backed by Saudi Arabia’s Shiite rival Iran, and have controlled the Yemeni capital of Sanaa since January.
