CAIRO: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended on a mixed note Thursday, as the benchmark index EGX30 lost a slight 0.11 percent, battered mainly by local and Arab sell offs.
The benchmark fell to 8,886 points at close, down from 8,896 points Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 added 0.75 percent to end at 494.5, compared to 490.8 points in its last session. The broader index EGX100 rose by 0.33 percent as well, ending at 1,008 points.
Market capitalization added around 600 million EGP ($78.63 million,) totaling 511.3 billion EGP, up from 510.7 billion EGP Wednesday.
