Sisi discusses opening 1000 factories with Economic Development Council

CAIRO: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is scheduled to meet the members of Economic Development Council Wednesday at the Presidential Palace, and discuss a number of projects as well as the opening of 1,000 small factories at the third settlement in New Cairo, which will create up to 50,000 jobs, Youm7 reported.

The meeting is also scheduled to tackle the problems of unregistered real estate, and possible solutions through applying the real estate registry system.

Economic Development Council was formed Feb. 5, along with 3 other councils affiliated to the presidency.

The Economic Development Council is tasked with framing and proposing studies to increase productivity and to study the problems that impede economic growth.
