Evangelical Church of Egypt holds elections of Synod of the Nile Council

CAIRO: The Evangelical Church of Egypt held elections for the Synod of the Nile Council in its 125 session on Wednesday for the posts of the president and the vice president.

Pastor Kamal Youssef was chosen for the President of the Synod, after Pastor George Shaker and Pastor Nady Labib for the Vice President, Pastor Nady Labib told The Cairo Post.

Pastor Tharwat Kades won the place of the President of the Dialogue Council and Essam Wasef for the President of the church’s General Assembly.

Ezzat Ibrahim won the post of the First Secretary of the Synod.
