CAIRO: Egypt is scheduled to host the conference of the Arab Thought Foundation (ATF) in December, said Khalid bin Faisal Al Saud, the Emir of Mecca Tuesday during his meeting with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

“The Foundation will hold its next conference in Cairo in December 2015, in cooperation with the Arab League; the conference would tackle the issue of Arab integration,” Khalid bin Faisal Al Saud was quoted as saying by Egyptian Presidential spokesperson Alaa Youssef in a statement.

Upon a call from the emir, the conference will be under the auspices of President Sisi, Youssef added.

The meeting was attended by Bandar bin Khalid Al Saud, the ATF Secretary General, and the Saudi ambassador to Cairo Ahmed al-Qattan, Youssef continued.
