CAIRO: A total of 290 Yemeni left Egypt to Yemen Tuesday morning on two flights, head of the Yemeni airlines at Cairo Airport Sadeq Abdel Aziz told Youm7.

More than 5,490 Yemenis have returned to their country from Cairo in the past few days over 32 flights, according to Abdel Aziz.

The flights depart Cairo Airport to Bisha Airport in Saudi Arabia, and arrive in Mukalla Airport in Yemen’s Hadramout.

Egypt is participating in the ongoing Saudi-led military campaign against Houthi fighters in Yemen that was launched March 26 after the Houthis made significant advances into the southern part of the country.
