CAIRO: Logo stickers, portraying the new Suez Canal, were placed on planes of EgyptAir ahead of the inauguration ceremony of the new water way project scheduled for August 6, Youm7 reported.
“The company has placed the logo on a number of planes to fly the world to mark the inauguration of the new Suez Canal,” Minister of Civil aviation Hossam Kamal told Youm7.
He added that the logo was placed on the front of the planes, so that it could be easily seen by EgyptAir passengers.
The flag carrier airline of Egypt participates in a promotional campaign of the new project. “Being the official carrier of the ceremony, EgyptAir prepared the logo to foster the ceremony,” Kamal said.
The inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal is set to be organized by the UK’s WPP Company for advertising and public relations.
