CAIRO: An Israeli delegation arrived in Cairo Tuesday on a private plane in a short visit to meet a number of Egyptian officials over mutual security issues, Youm7 reported.

The delegation was led by Israel’s national security advisor Isaac Molho.

This is not the first time for an Israeli security delegation to visit Egypt. In July 2014, a delegation included Molho and other senior security members in the Israeli cabinet paid a short visit to Egypt and discussed Egypt’s mediation in ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Also in February 2013, Times of Isreal reported that an Israeli delegation visited Egypt to discuss security situation in Sinai Peninsula and the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
