CAIRO: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended on a moderate decline at the close of Sunday’s session, hurt by local and foreign sales.
The benchmark index EGX30 fell by 0.45 percent to record 7,234 points on Sunday, down from 7,267 points on Thursday.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 also lost 0.37 to hit 390.96 points, down from 389.5 points in the previous session.
Similarly, the broader index EGX100 declined 0.17 percent to 841.81 points, compared to 843.21 points on Thursday.
Market capitalization lost around 2.1 billion EGP ($268.1 million) totaling 445.3 billion EGP, down from 447.4 billion EGP in the last session.
