CAIRO: A Draconid Meteor will grace Egypt’s sky Thursday, in which Egyptians will be able to see the shower with naked eyes, head of the Astronomy Department at the National Institute for Astronomical Research Ashraf Tadros told Youm7 Wednesday.

The Draconid Meteor shower is considered a rare phenomenon that is mostly visible by those in the Northern Hemisphere.

The best time for sky gazers to view the meteor shower is after the sunset and before the nightfall, Tadros added.
