CAIRO: Some 207 persons in Fayoum suffered from gas inhalation after a factory leak.

A Ministry of Health spokesperson told Youm7 that 26 of those injured were hospitalized, and have since been discharged.

In September, a factory for plastic products caught on fire in Shubra al-Kheima district of Egypt’s Delta governorate Qalyobia.

Abudllah Metwali was killed due to severe burns in his body while the other eight workers suffered.
