CAIRO: Early Saturday 45 Egyptians deported from Italy arrived at the Cairo Airport, airport officials told Youm7.

The group had traveled to Italy via a fishing boat, airport sources added.

Groups would-be migrants who are caught in Italy are deported routinely, often several times a week.

In late September, an attempt of illegal emigration by 174 persons from 10 different nationalities was foiled by Egyptian security forces Saturday in the northern city of Marsa Matrouh near the Mediterranean Sea, announced the Ministry of Interior office.
