CAIRO: The owner of a fishing boat was arrested after 10 Syrian and Iraqi migrants on board of his boat drowned Sunday, Youm7 reported.
The dead migrants include three children and a woman; their bodies were recovered off coast of Burullus village in Kafr el-Sheikh governorate.
A total of 35 migrants, all of them are from Syria and Iraq, were on board of a fishing boat, which sank early Sunday, while attempting to illegally travel to Italy.
The rescue team managed to save 25 of them, who revealed during investigations that they were traveling to Italy through an agent in Burullus.
