French Chamber of Commerce to discuss investment climate in Egypt Sunday

CAIRO: The Legal Committee of the French Chamber of Commerce in Egypt will host a roundtable next Sunday Oct. 18, to discuss investment climate in Egypt.

Recent legal reforms in theory and practice will be the main focus of the event that will be moderated by Former Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development and Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Ziad Bahaa  el- Din.

Sharif el-Akhdar, Partner at Beltone Private Equity, Ragy Soliman, General Counsel of Accelero Capital and Tewfik Shehata, Senior Partner at Zaki Hashem & Partners law will be the penalists during the roundtable.

French investments in Egypt surged to 4.3 billion Euros ($4.93 billion,) while trade volume between the two countries amounted to $3 billion in 2014, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said in a meeting with the French- Egyptian Business Council last week.
