CAIRO: The number of victims killed Sunday of an electric shock, after a power cable of a tram fell in rain water flooding the streets in Alexandria, has risen to seven, Youm7 reported.

Before the accident, the victims were reportedly sheltering from rain near the tram in Moharam Beek St. A horse was reportedly killed in the accident.

Alexandria streets are flooded with rain water after the city has witnessed heavy showers since Saturday in a temporary bad weather affecting the whole country and lasting for 72 hours.
