CAIRO: A total of 22 students suffered gas inhalation after a leak from a company near a primary school in South Sinai governorate, Youm7 reported Sunday.
Liquefied petroleum gas emissions were carried by high winds witnessed across the country in a temporary weather change. Arab Himdan School is located three kilometers far from Abu Rdees City in South Sinai.
The students were transferred to a medical unit in the city and were given different oxygen.
Khaled Fouda, South Sinai governor, ordered to send a committee from the Environment Affairs department to the petroleum company causing the emissions to measure the state of pollution and its causes.
