CAIRO: Egypt’s Meteorological Authority (EMA) has warned Egyptians that “unstable weather” prevailing in the country since the past few days will continue until the beginning of next week.
In his statements to Youm7, EMA Spokesperson Waheed Seoudy said that rainclouds will continue to appear, raising chances of showers in some coastal governorates, Sinai, Upper Egypt and Red Sea.
Weather in Cairo is expected to be moderate autumnal during day hours, while leaning to cooler temperatures at night. EMA said that temperature in the capital will be 24 C in the day and 17C at night.
Starting from Sunday, temperature dropped between 8 to 10 degrees; heavy rains and active wind were seen in most governorates.
EMA urged citizens to wear heavy clothes when they are outdoors.
