CAIRO: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) posted a moderate rebound Thursday, backed by foreign investors’ buying spree.
The benchmark index EGX30 edged up 0.38 percent to end at 7,508 points, up from 7,480 points on Wednesday.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 also added 0.48 percent to close at 397.8 points, compared to 395.9 points in its last session.
Similarly, the broader index EGX100 restored 0.38 percent to close at 852.3 points after 849.1 points on Wednesday.
Market capitalization gained around 2 billion EGP ($249 million,) totaling 453.1 billion EGP, compared to 451.1 billion EGP in the previous session.
