CAIRO: A huge fire was put out in a compact florescent lamp storehouse early Sunday in the third industrial zone of 6 October city south of Cairo, Youm7 reported.

Nine fire trucks were dispatched to the area; the cause of fire in the three-floor building has not been yet detected, but the criminal lab is investigating the incident.

The storehouse also contained electric equipment.

The fire raged in the first and third floors and the contents of the two floors were largely charred. No injuries were reported, as the fire began at dawn and fire fighters prevented the blaze from spreading to adjecent buildings.
